The Life Everlasting A Reality of Romance Marie Corelli Books
According to her 20-page prologue, Maria Corelli explains what she was trying to do with all her novels. "Will you, for instance, think of Life? What is it? Of Death? What is it? What is the primary object of Living? What is the problem solved by Dying? All these questions should have answer, -- for nothing is without a meaning -- and nothing ever HAS BEEN, or ever WILL BE, without purpose?" she says. The characters in this novel include an athiest millionaire who has been diagnosed with a terminal disease, his disgruntled daughter who needs "ministering to" and who invites the narrator on a holiday cruise on their yacht, their doctor, who has taken leave of his private practice to accompany them, and an old college classmate of the millionaire who sails up in a yacht of his own.
This is another page turner with elements of past lives, twin flames and initiations into the higher levels of the Brotherhood of Light, the general attitude of men toward women in the early 20th century, some elements of what I'd call mind control and Corelli's beautiful descriptions of the sky, the foliage, the ocean and her particular "axe to grind" that emerges as the "spiritual density" she sees in society in general, and the patience of God Himself over the centuries in His tireless efforts to wake us up! Over all, I loved this book! And I learned a lot about some of the higher initiations and what they entail.

The Life Everlasting A Reality of Romance Marie Corelli Books Reviews
I was looking forward to reading the edition of The Life Everlasting, but did not get the text, only the cover. Fortunately, this title only costs $0.99.
Fabulous novel of a true noblewoman in search of true love, as well as her findings of life principles and reality...
This book was read by three generations over a period of 75 years. First, by my grandmother, Theodora Seale Davis, then my mother, Gloria Davis Bradshaw, then me, Mary Bradshaw Duncan. It was popular for many years and I remember my grandmother telling me how excited her daughter was to see The Life Everlasting on a friend's coffee table when she was a teen.
Marie Corelli wrote this in a time when this subject was an absolute farce to most of the world. She puts things into perspective on how people react and become caught in the world today. Yes today. If you can read between the lines and open your mind you will find this book holds many wonderful secrets. Marie Corelli was selling hundreds of thousands of these books in her time which was unheard of, especially for a women. You can read and re-read this over and over and still find new ways of seeing and applying that which she brings to your attention. Wonderful book.
This is an interesting story, Marie Corelli is a gifted writer, she is able to weave her esoteric understanding into a most unusual love story.
I very much enjoyed this book; have read it several times. This copy was ordered because of wanting a hardback copy. It is the last, and best, of a sequence of books by Ms. Corelli as follows A Romance of Two Worlds (1886), Ardath (1889), The Soul of Lilth (1892), Barabbas (1893), The Sorrows of Satan (1895), The Master Christian (1900), and The Life Everlasting (1911). As she says in the prologue, these books are the result of a deliberately conceived plan and intention, and are linked together by one theory. Interestingly, this book is said to be the only novel Paramhansa Yogananda ever finished reading.
This author is not well known in this century and of course as a Victorian tended in some of her works to preach about societal mores which don't apply anymore . This book however is her best by far. It is a story based on a Divine Romance which introduces the reader to a well disguised mystery school for initiates. The initiations in mystery schools have always been secreted away from the public but haven't changed too much for thousands of years. It is well written and the characters serve purposes way beyond the obvious that you would find in modern literature. The story makes more sense the more that it is read depending on the changing perceptions of the reader and is much easier to understand that say William Blake or others of the 18th century. I have read it twice and enjoyed it even more the second time than the first time.
